Your Face

Your Face is one of those unique and rare blogs whose function you never would have thought of. In this blog, artist Damien Weighill will draw a picture of your face and post it on his blog if you send him a photograph. The London-based artist does not charge for this courtesy as far as I can tell. Personally, I’ve always liked sketches. For one thing, they’re an instant acne treatment! For another, the human hand is often much more sympathetic than the cold camera.

Moving Back to Jamaica

This is the blog of a Jamaican who has lived in the United States for twenty years. Now he and his family have moved back to Jamaica and he is recording their culture shock on his blog. This is a major move. You couldn’t use a New York Moving Company to get all the way to Jamaica! Anyway, the point is that this blog is very interesting because it explores the conflicts between two cultures.
