There are plenty of college-life blogs out there. I have one myself. But now there is a college mother blog! She has four children, three of whom are in college and one who is headed in that direction soon. Of course, every mother has to or has already had to deal with their children stressing about college. Mamas stress too! It’s simply a different kind of stressing.

I love this blog! This is the unique blog of a lady who loves thrift and vintage shops, art, and more. With old books, old paintings, and a weekly “treasure box”, this blog brings back the past! Don’t expect to find any printers or computers on this blog! It’s all about the old, the unique, the sentimental value.

This blog will give you all sorts of interesting baby name trivia and information. With the latest update on weird celebrity baby names (a poor kid named Peanut springs to mind–see her latest entry) and top 100 names in the state, this blog will keep you interested and informed. You don’t have to be expecting to be interested in these names. As a wannabe author, I can tell you that I often peruse baby name sites looking for that perfect name. But seriously, PEANUT? Is this kid every going to be able to buy personalized pens? Of course, with the money his parents have, I guess he can afford to special-order them.

This is a cool-looking blog with unique ideas and perspectives. This is the blog of a 45-year-old soon-to-be cosmetologist. While this blog won’t give you the latest fashions or a new acne treatment cream, it will make you think. With discussions on topics such as rotten tomatoes and fast food chains and baby birds, this blog covers everything! I would definitely advise visiting this blog.

This is a blog about anything and everything. You can find stories of the author’s high school band days. You can find recipes. And for some reason, this is labelled as a classical music blog. Anyway, the author is very talented. Her writing style is casual, but you won’t find any grammatical errors here! The theme is captivating and I like the way it is set up.

The subtitle of this blog is “Living with funny cats in Egypt”. If that’s not an attention-grabber, nothing is. Obviously Chica and Pumuckl are cats, and boy are they cute! The blog began in March, three months ago. Who can resist a blog about cats? Cats are cute! Well, except for those weird hairless ones. But usually they’re so ugly they’re cute.

Another great blog! Down-to-earth and fun to read, this blog is going places! This witty parent does not mind talking about her children (but then, who does?) and they sound like great kids. It feels like you are reading your best friend’s blog. On the sidebar is a Christmas Coundown animation. C’mon, that gives it cool points!

This is a cute blog! The author warns you that the posts may not even be important to her, but they are fun to read. She is a good writer, and she brings her posts to life with flair. She reviews children’s books occasionally. She is a bookaholic, which is juuuuuust fine with me! Anyway, this blog is very upbeat and optimistic in tone. Visit! Go! Shoo!

Blacksheep has opinions, and she will tell you exactly what they are. She, like many bloggers, has that well-known blog fodder, children. Occasionally we hear (well, read) a frustration or two, but hey, it’s life. It happens. I love the theme! Blacksheep knows what she’s talking about, and she doesn’t beat around the bush. She’ll tell you what she thinks right to your face–computer screen, I mean.

This blog is written by a proud mother and grandmother. As we all know, kids make excellent blog fodder, so if you’re a parent, be prepared to experiend sudden sympathy and understanding when she talks about them! I also love the theme, especially the header! Between the interesting posts and the assorted other things such as quizzes, this blog is definitely one to keep your eye on.
